Biography

Before entering the legal profession, Jessi built a distinguished career in Thunder Bay's real estate and economic development sectors. Jessi worked as a Property Agent with the City of Thunder Bay for nearly six years, followed by a role as Senior Development Officer with the Thunder Bay Community Economic Development Commission, where he led major economic development initiatives, secured and administered project funding, and focused on supporting business growth in various sectors throughout Northwestern Ontario. This foundation gave Jessi a deep understanding of how businesses, municipalities, and investors operate; knowledge he now applies directly to his legal practice.

Jessi went on to complete his legal studies at Lakehead University, articling and practicing in for local firms in Northwestern Ontario before joining Potestio Law in 2026. His transactional experience across multiple firms has equipped him to advise corporations, lenders, and investors on complex commercial matters with confidence and precision.
